All our boards, INC Mental Health Alliance and the seven (7) Township 708 Boards, are composed of volunteers who are passionate about serving their communities in the area of funding and planning for mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use disorder services in southern Kane County.
INC Mental Health Alliance
Composed of fifteen (15) members; one (1) member from each of the seven (7) township 708 Boards, and eight (8) members-at-large elected by the board. The board meets six (6) times a year (odd number months) starting in July at the INC MHA Conference Room at 400 Mercy Lane, Aurora, IL.
Community Township 708 Board
Composed of seven (7) members appointed by the township supervisor; one (1) member being on the township board. The 708 boards meet three (3) times a year (October, February, June) at a designated location for each township.
NOTE: Volunteers for INC Board of Directors cannot serve on the board or work for any of our funded agencies or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and must reside within one of our townships. Volunteers for 708 boards must reside in the township in which they serve.
